Baptist Beaches Protective Services is hiring a Safety Specialist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity at Baptist Beaches. ​

Safety Specialist Job Responsibilities: ​
  • This role provides technical expertise to team members, develops, implements, and manages the day-to-day functions of Emergency Management, Safety/Environment of Care programs, and monitors Life Safety program within the hospital/healthcare setting including freestanding Emergency Department.
Safety Specialist Experience: ​
  • 1-2 Years Healthcare Experience Required
  • 1-2 Years Emergency Management Experience Required
Safety Specialist Education & Credential Requirements: ​
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) Must Be Obtained Within 90 Days of Hire
  • Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP) Must Be Obtained Within 90 Days of Hire
