Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Reid Outpatient OR at Baptist Jacksonville. This position is a Full-time Days opportunity working Monday through Friday from 10:30am to 6:30pm with no call, no holidays, and no weekends!

As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include:

  • Understanding principles of sterilization.
  • Wraping instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.
  • Able to prioritize duties.
  • Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform
  • Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years Instrument Experience
  • Less than 1 year Central Processing Experience
  • Linen Processing Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
  • None

This Surgical Technologist position supporting the Reid Outpatient OR will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
