Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Surgical Technologist who has at least 2 years of experience in the Operating Room as a CVOR Surgical Technologist. This is a short-term contracted position requiring a commitment of 36 hrs./week for 12-13 weeks. This is a full-time 6:00 AM-6:00 PM position. This position is at our Baptist Downtown location.

As an Surgical Technologist in our CVOR your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures.
  • Anticipates needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly.
  • Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
  • Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.
