Rev. Kyle Reese appointed to 15-member board of directors for health system

Rev. Kyle Reese, D.Min., was recently named to the board of directors for Baptist Health. He also serves on the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville board, elected in May 2013.

Dr. Reese serves as senior pastor of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church. Active in the community, Dr. Reese was Chair of the Board of OneJax and is on the Leadership Jacksonville Board.

Each month, Dr. Reese convenes interfaith dialogues for OneJax, as well as co-hosting "Faith Matters" on WJCT 89.9FM. The radio program examines today’s issues through the lens of faith. In addition, Dr. Reese is involved in Baptist life: He is currently on the boards of Baptist News Global and Passport, which offers Christian summer camps for children and youth groups.

Dr. Reese earned his Bachelor of Arts in religious studies from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas, and his Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Then, Dr. Reese acquired his Doctor of Ministry from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Ill.
