Baptist Medical Center Beaches names new Board of Directors chair and welcomes new board member

The Baptist Medical Center Beaches Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Peter Ghiloni has been named its new board chair.

Ghiloni, who is president and CEO of Swisher International, joined the Baptist Beaches board in 2010 and previously served as vice chair. He also has served on the Baptist Beaches Development Council since 2008 and serves on numerous other boards, including vice chair of the Jacksonville University board of directors.

Additionally, J. Francisco Jimenez, MD, has been elected as a new board member. An anesthesiologist and a founding member and partner of Jacksonville Anesthesia Corp., Dr. Jimenez is the immediate past Chief of Staff at Baptist Beaches and the hospital’s physician champion for quality. He is also a member of Baptist Health’s systemwide clinical quality committee and has volunteered at the Mission House Clinic in Jacksonville Beach for the past six years.
