The emergency departments at Baptist Clay and Baptist Oakleaf have been named 2021 Guardian of Excellence Award® winners by Press Ganey, the national leader in healthcare consumer and workforce engagement.
Press Ganey recognizes top-performing healthcare organization achieving the 95th percentile or above for performance in patient experience, which is measured by consumer ratings and how likely they are to recommend the medical center to others.
“We thank the community for trusting us with their emergency care. This honor is a result of survey feedback from our patients who gave us high ratings for our level of care,” said Darin Roark, hospital president for Baptist Medical Center Clay. “Our team members live and work right here in Clay County – so it’s truly neighbor taking care of neighbor. This award is great recognition of the amazing service our teams provide 24/7.”
The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award® is a preeminent, competitive achievement for leading healthcare organizations. Presented annually, the award applauds hospitals and health systems that consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients.
