"Since we opened in 2005, Dr. Picerno has admirably filled many medical staff officer positions at Baptist Medical Center South, including spending six years in the Chief of the Medical Staff role," said Ron G. Robinson, hospital president of Baptist South. "As Chief of Staff, Dr. Picerno spent two years representing the medical staff on the Baptist South Board of Directors. He has also served as Chief of Surgery and Orthopaedics for many years. Dr. Picerno is recognized by all for his selfless leadership, his concern for others and doing what is right.
