Baptist Medical Center South welcomes new members to Board of Directors

Baptist Medical Center South is pleased to announce the election of two new members to its Board of Directors.

Mark C. Dawkins, PhD, is Dean and Distinguished Professor for Excellence of the Coggin College of Business at the University of North Florida. Prior to joining UNF in 2015, he spent 21 years on the faculty of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia where he was also an associate dean. Dr. Dawkins earned his PhD from Florida State University and his MBA from the University of Florida.

Micah Heavener is managing director, Global Operations and Technology, for Citi. Since beginning his career with Citi in 2005, he has held a number of different roles across the customer life cycle in areas including credit originations, customer service, collections, and information technology. He earned an MBA from the University of Florida. Prior to working for Citi, Heavener was an infantry officer in the U.S. Army.
