Swinging into action: Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital support families at THE PLAYERS Championship
The health system will provide first aid at the event and a family lounge, making it easier for fans of all ages to enjoy championship-level golf.
Jacksonville, FL.
Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital will be serving as first aid sponsor of THE PLAYERS Championship once again, reflecting their ongoing support for the leading golf tournament. Returning to Ponte Vedra this year, the region’s largest and most preferred health system will provide comfort, care and essential services throughout THE PLAYERS tournament, making it easier for fans of all ages to enjoy championship-level golf. Now in its 52nd year, the tournament will take place March 10 - 15, 2026 at TPC Sawgrass.
Open to all ticket holders, the Family Lounge is a cool, air-conditioned area designed especially for parents and young children. This shaded retreat from the Florida heat provides dedicated private spaces for diaper changes, feeding and pumping. Complimentary diapers and wipes also will be available for families.
Baptist Health will be providing medical assistance at the First Aid Headquarters near the No. 8 green, with additional first aid stations at the No. 4 tee, No. 9 tee, Davis Love III entry (near the No. 10 tee) and No. 15 tee.
THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, which reaches beyond the hospital walls to promote safe and healthy childhoods for all children living in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, will have a dedicated presence onsite. Staff will be on hand to provide families with important educational materials on child safety.
Babies born at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, Baptist Medical Center South, Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Baptist Medical Center Clay during the week will receive an exclusive “Cuter than Most” baby outfit, a playful nod to Tiger Woods’ legendary “Better than Most” putt on the Island Green in 2001. Additionally, babies in Wolfson Children’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit during the event will also receive the commemorative baby outfit and a card featuring important safe sleep guidelines, provided by THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health.
