Job Summary

Baptist Health’s Pulmonary team is hiring an Advance Practice Provider to join them at Baptist Medical Center Nassau. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is comfortable assisting 2 Pulmonologists with procedures, managing the clinic’s patients, handling PFTs, proposing treatment for patients, maintaining documentation, and who can prioritize quality patient care. We have an 8 bed ICU and full outpatient clinic located on the hospital grounds.

This Advance Practice Provider will:

  • Examine patients and update their progress notes.
  • Write orders for medications
  • Study tests (blood tests, X-Rays, HSTs, etc.)
  • Assess and diagnose acute and chronic illness
  • Chart in EPIC EMR
  • Propose treatment
  • Answer call, round and assist in ICU

Shift:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8 AM to 5 PM

Master's Degree

Education Preferred

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Experience

  • Less than 1 year APRN or Physician Assistant experience required

License and Certification

  • DEA Controlled Substances Registration Required
  • Adult and BLS certifications are required.
  • APRN/PA-C board certification is required.
  • Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required
