Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center located in Northeast Florida is actively seeking an experienced Benign Hematologist to join our distinguished cancer medicine faculty. This position will support our growing benign hematology program and cellular therapy program. Baptist MD Anderson brings an unprecedented level of oncology care to Northeast Florida and provides physicians an appealing blend of focused patient care and the benefit of an academic-oriented model. The successful candidate will
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience in benign hematology. Additional experience in cellular therapy and CAR-T therapy is a plus but not essential. Benign hematology is a requirement of the position.
- Demonstrate a commitment to our multidisciplinary integrated model of cancer care.
- Fully support the clinical, scholarly, and educational missions of our program including developing standard protocols for patient care, improving quality metrics and creating scholarly work.
Graduating fellows may be considered if they have demonstrated a serious commitment to the care of the hematology patient.
Leadership opportunities within the hematology program, division, quality or research program will be made available for the ideal candidate.
Baptist MD Anderson recently opened a 330,000 square foot patient-centered, state-of-the-art facility dedicated solely to the full spectrum of oncology care.
Successful candidates will be board-certified with a distinguished record of clinical and academic accomplishment and possess the skills and experience necessary to establish and maintain an active clinical practice and develop areas of productive scholarship. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care including participation in quality management and research programs sufficient to earn an academic appointment at MD Anderson in Houston.
