Nakia Custis Biography and Information
Nakia Custis serves as the administrative assistant to the system administrator for spiritual care, Jeannie Chapman. She started her journey in healthcare at Baptist MD Anderson in 2022.
Nakia was born and raised in Montgomery County, MD and moved to Jacksonville in 2008. Before healthcare, she worked in the radio industry and in property management. She received a certificate in broadcasting from the Columbia School of Broadcasting.
Nakia has two adult children, Destiny and Marquis, and a little dog named Choppa. She loves relaxing at home, listening to music and taking trips back home to see her family and friends. Nakia is passionate about helping youth in our community. Every year she goes to Jacksonville high schools to make sure underprivileged seniors have what they need to graduate, including helping purchase caps and gowns.
