Rebecca Highfield Biography and Information
Rebecca L. Highfield is a Certified Educator with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) and a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). Prior to joining Baptist Health she was the Director of Pastoral Care at Mary Washington Healthcare and a CPE Educator at Virginia Commonwealth University. Rebecca was also a congregational pastor in Oklahoma and Virginia.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Radio-TelevisionFilm from the University of Texas and her Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary. She earned her Master of Science in Patient Counseling and Master of Science in Patient Counseling-Supervisory Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was ordained in and maintains endorsement with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Rebecca and her husband have one teenager, one college student and a shih tzupoodle mix. She enjoys cross-stitching, watching professional soccer and reading history books.
