After one complaint about the attitude of some of the personnel during a visit, my next visit was 100% better. On my last visit I learned that Dr. Laurencin was leaving and that has caused me some sadness because I could talk to her about anything and now I must start a whole new relationship with a nother Dr. I would like to let you know that you are losing a jewel and hopefully her replacement will bring that caring concern for the clients to the practice. Thanks Dr. Laurencin for your kind loving care and concern.

The wait time is too long. Two out of the three times I've had an appointment the wait was well over an hour. That is too long to wait, especially to simply discuss the results of blood tests. Otherwise, the doctor and staff are professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

1. Calls should be answered @ 8AM when the office opens, not 8:30AM or 9AM. Once you do get through, it asked if you wish to go to a call back list, and that your call will be answered in the order that it was received, which it does not. 2. Make appointments that are realistic to doctor's performance; allowance should be made so that a doctor is not running behind 45 - 60 minutes by 9A M in the morning. This only sets the pattern for the remainder of their schedule.

My experience at new office are much like the old location. Staff continues to be professional as well as courteous and my doctor has continued to be forthright with what she feels is best for me. She has also taken timeout to listen to me which helps me a great deal in the area of being confident I am receiving great support and services. I would also add the addition of the medical app has been something I grown to really appreciate. The access to my medical information and my test results from blood work has helped with feelings of anxiety.

During my visit, the staff was very kind and polite, like always. However, time management is an issue. I had an appointment scheduled, arrived 25 minutes early. My appointment was at 11. at 11:30 I was still sitting in the lobby. around 11:45, I got called to do weight and blood pressure, then was placed in a room by a nurse. I sat in that room for an hour, and no one came in; not to check in or to explain the delays, not even to retrieve the paper I had to sign. I brought a book and had read 60 pages of it before I finally decided I was probably just going to leave. Opened the door to see if I could flag someone, and after I explained how long I had been waiting, a very apologetic young nurse offered me water and said the doctor was in the room next door. A few minutes after that the doctor flew in, very apologetic, trying to explain that they had to fit in a patient due to a scheduling error. She did not know what I was there for, thinking it was a follow up for a blood test I took a year ago, when it was in fact a physical. I waited for two hours to spend five minutes with a doctor, who literally tapped my stomach, ordered blood work, that I couldn't get on site because my appointment had been so delayed the phlebotomist had gone to lunch, and sent me on my way. I respect my doctor's time, which is why I showed up early, but the practice did not respect my time or obligations. While delays and snafus are bound to happen, my suggestion is that staff/nurses don't just leave a patient in a room for longer than 20 minutes without popping in to explain the delay or see how the patient is doing. Being left in a room, without any context, for that amount of time was infuriating. I truly recognize that sometimes things occur that are beyond your control, and I believe this may have been the case here. Keeping a patient informed, instead of in the dark would go a long way to alleviating the kind of frustration I felt sitting there.

I waited for almost 2 hours prior to me being seen. I should have been told when I first checked in that Dr. Laurencin was running 1 hour and 30 minutes behind. Please she's an excellent Doctor, I just thought it was inconsiderate of the office not to advise me that she was running behind and they did not give me the opportunity to reschedule prior to me paying my copay! They waited almost 2 hours to ask me if I wanted a virtual.

Making an appointment is hard. It???s at least a 2-3 week wait for a sick visit, virtual or in person. This last issue for my migraines was 2 weeks. I also had an accident I decided to have the doctor treat that as I worry I wouldn???t be seen for another 2 weeks. I was able to have my migraines discussed in my follow up the next week. Visits are consistently long. My appointment was at 11:30, I left at 1:15. The office closes at 1 which is fine but no one was the to give me my ex ray paperwork or doctors note. I also had to return to the office to get the paperwork in order to get my X-ray before returning to work.

Dr. Laurencin is awesome, but actually scheduling an appointment and virtually connecting takes the patience of Job. I scheduled a virtual visit for between 1 and 3. I received a call at 12:40 and did not have my phone close enough to pick up before it went to voicemail. I checked the voicemail and was told that my appointment was at 12:45 and that I would receive a call back at 1. I waited until then with phone in hand. No call. So I called them. I waited on hold for 45 minutes. At that point, the answering service picked up. I was told that I shouldn't have been told 1 to 3 because the offices is at lunch from 1 to 2. Dr. Laurencin did make time for my virtual appointment at 3:30 ????. However, if the people answering the phone and scheduling appointments had better training or knew the office policies/schedule, then this review would be my usual 10. I am considering changing to another Baptist PCP because as a teacher, I do not have time to wait on hold passed 5 minutes to speak to someone nor can be available by phone for a callback. Office management went downhill when Dr Larmoyeux retired.

No sign in sheet at window. They didn???t acknowledge patients upon arrival. They also were holding what they called an emergency staff meeting in the front which all waiting patients could hear. As a result patients that arrived later were waited on first since their COVID PAPER.

You need a phone service to take messages when a patient calls and someone to return the calls the same day. I was put on hold multiple times for 45 min before I hung up. Every time my family needs to reach the office no one answers. We have to come in person to talk to anyone in the office. If we could communicate with office staff the Dr is great.

Very difficult to get intouch with your provider. The phone system is horrible, the options available to chose never let you actually speak to anyone and even when I leave a voicemail I do not get a call back in a timely manner, if at all. The answering service is worse because the person just tells you to call back when the office is open. Dr. Sandra and Dr. Kinman are great when I see them but the office staff seems uncaring and unresponsive which is why I am searching for a new provider.

It's very hard to get through the doctors office phone line to speak with someone. Also, the frosted glass in the patient waiting room is not patient friendly. It makes the patient feel cutoff and that's not a good feeling. There should be a warm welcoming atmosphere. especially for those that may be facing more serious health issues. Last thing they'd want is to feel this way coming to see their doctor.

The wait room times are unacceptable!! Patients are charged for late arrival/missed appointments. What compensation does the patient receive while waiting for the physician? As of lately, my appointments have been running anywhere from 15 -30 minutes behind the scheduled time. I understand physicians want their patients to feel valued and spend the necessary time with each of us. However, I feel my time is valuable as well, since I am leaving work for this appointment (time lost). Overall, I am very happy with the care and service I receive from this facility.

The doctors there are competent and interested. There are lots of problems with the check in procedures. The screen is coated and you can't see the receptionist. This immediately creates an unfriendly barrier. Last time I was there I walked up to it and nothing happened so I took a seat. There were only two other patients in the waiting room. I waited nealy 30 minutes. A staff member came out through the door and I asked her about the delay. She told me I was more than 15 minutes late and would have to reschedule. They eventually agreed to let me see the doctor. The whole process has made me want to go to another clinic.

I adore Dr. Laurencin’s patience, kindness & everything about her. I also was completely smitten with the new girl with long curly black hair (sorry, I’ve forgotten her name). She listened carefully, was empathic & encouraging. The entire staff is kind& helpful. Couldn’t be a greater doctors’ office!!!

I believe that Dr. Laurencin is the best primary care physician in the entire Baptist Health System. She is attentive to her patients concerns and works to alleviate their fears; and always, I feel like I am her only patient, and my family feels the same way about her.
