I Just a wonderful office. like Dr Hayes and all his staff. Many have been with him years so I get to know everyone and miss them when they retire. I like that if Dr. Hayes needs to refer me to someone they are as good as he and I feel safe.

Never a long wait. Friendly, professional front desk staff. Caring, competent medical assistants & lab/X-ray techs. Have been a patient of Dr Hayes for 13 + years & he is simply the best! Hope he doesn???t retire soon. Although I have seen a couple other Drs/PAs on occasion & felt comfortable with them.

The check-in desk, the nurses and especially Dr. Hayes are always very pleasant. I???ve been seeing Dr. Hayes for several years and have waited to see him maybe as long as 10-15 minutes. Dr. Hayes always listens patiently to my ???complaints??? and doesn???t make me feel hurried.

Drop the computer tablet check-in format. Some of the questions are not medical, but social, and not pertinate to your care for me. Further, some, (frequency of alcohol), l do not allow logical answer. I will not participate with this format again.

Everyone is polite, considerate and very helpful. The wait times are very short. Last Friday I was seen in 5 minutes from my arrival time. I've had some doctors at other locations who have 2 and 3 hour wait times. That is unacceptable.

During the 10 years we lived in Mandarin, we used the BPC Facility for most of our medical needs. After moving 90 miles away to the Georgia Coast in 2005, we still come back to BPC for our Annual checkups.

Dr Hayes is wonderful but other than Miriam every staff member we dealt with was non caring and non helpful. After a visit with Dr Hayes where is was first made aware of all the issues he satisfied what he could and referred us to the office manager, Shannon who was very receptive and apologetic for the way the staff had performed and promised to look into things, which I totally believe she will. She was also able to expedite some orders that was exceptionally helpful

Dr. Hayes is what is keeping me at this location as I live in St. Augustine and he is very professional and knowledgeable and continues to provide excellent care as he knows me. The atmosphere does not seem as warm/friendly as it has been thru the past years, from the receptionist, to the scheduling area. It appears there is a lot of turnover in staff as you don???t see the same regular staff. I could not tell you the names of anyone (staff)working in that office after going there for years. I feel they don???t know me other than by my name on my chart and I don???t know them. It was so different when Nora, Cindy etc. we???re there. Not complaining but you ask, it???s very different from a patient standpoint. I realize change happens and you have to go with the flow.

Dr. Hayes is in a rush every time you go for an appointment, he doesn't want to listen to your concerns and never gets back to you with a treatment for your concerns. I have only got a good treatment when I was when covid 19 and everything was over the phone. His assistant Norah was very nice but she will not get back to you with any answers of what the doctor want me to do and the new assistant is nasty and argumentative. I would be leaving this practice soon. Make nonsense to have a doctor that is never available for you.

Everyone from the office visit appointment makers to the nurse to the dr; everyone is willing to help. Dr. Hayes is knowledgeable and listens to me before he makes a diagnosis. Nurse Nora is great. I recently had a problem with a prescription sent to the pharmacy. She kept me constantly informed as she was trying to resolve the situation which took over 2 hours and past closing time. She then called me the next morning to see how I was feeling. Nurse Nora went over and beyond in assisting me and I am grateful.

Nothing. The deed is done. I was called to come in for a blood sample. I explained to the lady I'd be happy to but I have a tight schedule (plus it costs me ~$35/hr to take off time). I explained I would not wear a stupid, useless paper mask as I am over 62, have HBP and other risk factors which make a cardiac event far more likely than that mask protecting me at all from COVID 19. She said she understood and I should just tell the lady at the front desk and I would be let in without a mask. The lady at the front desk would have none of it. She was rude, avoided eye contact and simply said I must have a mask, period. I told her what I was told over the phone and she finally relented and called someone, or appeared to. She snapped at me before she even hung up that I would need a mask. I thanked her and left.

The visit was very good, I was disappointed however to see that no one at the sign in desk tried to help a woman in a wheelchair once she told them that she had peed herself. The place can be updated to look more modern, it looked like it was 1992 again. Everything else was great though, I saw Dr. Hayes and he was kind and took the time to listen to me. I also found his approach to be thorough as he asked many questions before making his recommendations. The nursing staff was also great! I would recommend Dr. Hayes to my friends and family. The receptionists were not friendly on this day. Another patient was signing in at one station and I walked up and began signing in at the other nurses station to the right. The nurse said no, I need this patient to sign in here and left me just standing there. I walked over to the other desk and the receptionist just looked at me. I signed in and she told me that she would take me "over there" I looked at her and I said where? "there" and she pointed literally 1 foot to my right and then asked me my name. I laughed and read my name off of the sheet that I just signed in from 1 foot away. Why didn't she greet me and take the clipboard with my name on it? I was felt like I was being punked and this was a joke. Not a good way to receive a patient.
