Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing developmentally appropriate play activities and therapeutic interactions for pediatric patients in playrooms, at the bedside, and in other assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate age-appropriate play and activity programming

  • Provide bedside play and engagement for patients unable to visit the playroom

  • Assist with the orientation, training, and oversight of Child Life volunteers

  • Support the planning and execution of special events, guest visits, and community donation activities

  • Order, organize, and maintain activity supplies and manage toy inventory

  • Ensure play areas are clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate
