Job Summary
Assistant Administrator, Operations, Baptist Nassau
The Assistant Administrator, Operations provides 24/7 operational leadership and administrative oversight to ensure the efficient, safe, and compliant delivery of assigned hospital services. This role partners closely with executive leadership, clinical leaders, and support departments to implement operational strategies, maintain regulatory readiness, and drive continuous performance improvement.
Serving as a key liaison across departments, the Assistant Administrator supports daily operations, patient throughput, staffing effectiveness, and patient experience initiatives. This leader operates effectively within a matrixed environment, engaging diverse stakeholders to achieve operational goals while fostering collaboration, inspiring followership, and exemplifying the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS)
Master of Arts or Science (MA/MS) preferred
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience required
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare management experience required
Licenses and Certifications
Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) preferred
