Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Downtown (Jacksonville) in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time Night shift opportunity.

Assistant Nurse Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
  • Is an expert clinical resource
  • Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow
  • Takes a lead role in implementing changes
  • Supports and coaches staff development
  • Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
  • Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.

Assistant Nurse Manager Experience:

  • 3–5 years Nursing Experience (required)
  • Medical Surgical and Telemetry Experience (required)
  • Leadership and Charge Nurse Experience (required)

Assistant Nurse Manager Education & Credential Requirements:

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
