Baptist Health is seeking to hire a Certified Medical Assistant to join our NEW Seven Pines campus in our Orthopedics department, conveniently located near Butler Boulevard and I-295, just east of the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

The experienced candidate will perform clinical support such as rooming patients, preparing x-rays, and assisting the providers.

Certified Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required
