Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit. This is a Full-Time Nights position working 36 hours per week with shifts of 7:00pm-7:00am located at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island, Florida.

We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Patient activities of daily living

  • Maintaining a safe environment for patients

  • Collecting lab specimens

  • Intake and output monitoring

  • Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Certified Nursing Assistant Experience:

  • None

Education:

  • None required

  • HSD/GED Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

  • Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required
