Baptist Health is seeking a Part-Time CT Technologist to join our Cat Scan Department at our Free Standing ED Town Center. This is a part-time day shift opportunity.
As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person. Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures, which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing high-quality (CT) procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.
