Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking for an experienced Endoscopy Technologist to support our Endoscopy Team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a PRN position.
As an Endo Technologist in this role, you will work as part of the surgical services teams in the Endoscopy unit. The individual will assist the team during procedures, ensure a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons during procedures, and maintain patient safety. Throughout the day, precision, attention to detail, and teamwork are paramount in providing quality patient care.
As a Endoscopy Technologist for the Endoscopy unit, your responsibilities and qualifications will include:
Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures
Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case and prepare accordingly
Proper disposition of specimens and instruments
Works with entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety
Call is required for this position.
Experience Requirements:
- Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience
- Less than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience Required
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- High School Diploma Required
