Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator on the Cardiac Echo Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Full-Time Days opportunity working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm and is located at the Heart Center Downtown (Jacksonville, FL).

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering call lights and phone calls promptly

  • Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment

  • Maintaining patient chart folders

  • Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles

  • Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Experience Requirements:

  • None

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required

  • Associate's Degree Preferred

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
