Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator on the Maternal/Newborn Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a PRN Days position with shifts of 7:00am-7:00pm and is located at Baptist Beaches.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
Maintaining patient chart folders
Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate's Degree Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
