Job Summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Manager, System Quality Improvement to join the Quality Management team. This is a full-time opportunity.

The role is responsible for leading medical staff peer review, professional practice evaluation (PPE), and clinical data abstraction teams through supervision and direct reporting structure to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous improvement in clinical outcomes. Demonstrates leadership in quality management and fosters collaboration with clinical, administrative, and regulatory stakeholders. Upholds facility quality procedures, standards, and specifications throughout the healthcare system. Advances quality team members to proficiency through ongoing mentorship, communication, and support. Actively participates in healthcare quality development through competence, networking, and continued learning. Collaborates with organizational leaders to promote and incorporate healthcare quality objectives into the strategic operating practices through professional communication and relationship building. Understands and applies performance improvement frameworks and methodologies to develop and lead projects and change management as needed. Partners with Data Intelligence and Decision Science to guide and drive decision making and future QI initiatives. Upholds a safe healthcare system through detection, mitigation, and reduction of patient harm and participating in the collaborative culture of safety through partnership with Risk Management. Maintains compliance and regulatory requirements through preparation and participation in continued readiness activities.

  • 3-5 Years Healthcare Quality Required
