Baptist Heart Specialists is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our World Golf Village office located in Saint Augustine, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

This candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting provider. This is a fast-paced office, so experience is strongly preferred.

Medical Assistant II, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Required
