Baptist Health is looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant at our Baptist Primary Care Blanding office located in Orange Park, Fl. This is a Full-Time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM.
The experienced candidate will perform back-office duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and more. Bilingual candidates are a plus!
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
Provides medical assistance to physician
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
