Baptist MD Anderson is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Medical Oncology Clinic at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center at our South Campus, located in Jacksonville, FL. This position will be a Full-time Days position Monday-Friday from 8-5.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred but not required.

The responsibilities of this Medical Assistant will include:
- Providing nursing assistance to the physician and APP
- Obtaining vital signs, weights, and heights
- Greeting and chaperoning patients as needed during medical visits
- Documenting in the medical record as indicated per role
- Telephone triage and patient education
- Maintaining rooms and exam room turnover
- Maintaining medical documentation and schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physicians
- Helping with FMLA paperwork, prescription requests, and referrals
- Floating/rotating between clinics as needed
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
