We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for the Baptist San Jose Pediatrics office, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity.
The experienced candidate will perform back-office duties such as assisting the provider and administering vaccines. Must be comfortable working with children.
Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
