Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our team at our Baptist Clay location. This is a Full Time, Day shift opportunity working Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. This position will be at our Baptist Clay drawing station at the Health Place. This candidate must have excellent customer service, at least 3 years of experience in blood draws working with all ages, as well as specimen processing.
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for:
- Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
- Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
- Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
- Utilizing computer functions.

- 3-5 Years Phlebotomy Experience
