Job Summary
We are looking to add a Medical Office Coordinator at Baptist Neurology, located at Baptist Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
As the Medical Office Coordinator, you will provide assistance to physicians and coordinate business operations or clinical operations in conjunction with the physician and manager. You will support the manager to ensure an overall smooth operation of the office. You will be responsible for processing medication refills and triaging patient calls.
The Medical Office Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Completing prior authorizations
- Chart preparation
- Sending lab results
- Assisting management of office
- Assisting with back office throughput
- Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs
