Job Summary

Baptist Hospital is hiring a Medical Office Coordinator at Baptist Primary Care, located at Baptist Silverleaf in Saint Johns, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

As the Medical Office Coordinator, you will provide assistance to physicians and coordinate business operations and clinical operations in conjunction with the physician and manager. You will support the manager to ensure an overall smooth operation of the office. You will be responsible for processing medication refills and triaging patient calls.

Medical Office Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Completing prior authorizations

  • Chart preparation

  • Sending lab results

  • Assisting management of office

  • Assisting with back-office throughput

  • Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required

  • Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
