Baptist Health is hiring an Office Specialist II at Baptist Primary Care, located at Baptist Murabella in Saint Johns, FL. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
As the Office Specialist II, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. This is a position for a focused, task-oriented and self-motivated individual who thrives in a busy atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is an energetic team player who excels in a professional setting.
Office Specialist II Job Requirements:
Assisting patients as needed
Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims
Processing mail on a daily basis
Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
Check in and check out
Assisting with referrals as needed
Scanning documents
Experience Requirements:
One-Two Years Front Desk Experience Preferred
Experience Working in a Medical Office Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required
