Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking to add a Paramedic to our Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center Oakleaf. This is a full-time, evening shift opportunity.
At Baptist Health, a Paramedic in the Emergency Department plays a key role in supporting patient care and ensuring timely, compassionate service during critical moments. The Paramedic works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with patient assessments, treatment, and documentation in a fast-paced hospital environment.
As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for:
Assisting RNs in providing care to patients with urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
Supporting activities of daily living and maintaining a safe patient environment.
Collecting and labeling lab specimens accurately.
Monitoring and recording patient intake and output.
Documenting all patient care and observations in the electronic medical record.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care.

An active Florida Paramedic license required.

Experience
- Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Trasnport Medicine Setting Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience Required
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Incident Command system (ICS) 300, 400 Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Paramedic Required
