Baptist Clay is currently hiring for a PRN Patient Access Rep II to join our Patient Access Services Department at our Baptist Clay location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Shift details: PRN Various Shifts - must have open availability to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, days, nights, holidays

As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for:

  • Registering patients accurately and efficiently
  • Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
  • Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
  • Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually
  • Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
  • Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
  • Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Education Required

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Insurance Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Healthcare Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Preferred
