Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist South. This is a Part-time opportunity.
Transporter, Job Responsibilities:
- Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher.
- To provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient.
- This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
- Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
- Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
