Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add an Emergency Department Pharmacist to our Pharmacy at Baptist South located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time, evening shift, opportunity to work 7 days on, 7 days off. The schedule would be evening shift, working 13:00 to 23:30.

As the ED Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy Required

• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH Required

• Bachelor of Science Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
• Registered Pharmacist - State Board of Pharmacy
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - AHA
• Driver's License - DMV
• Licensed Pharmacist - DOH
