Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking to add a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapist to our Downtown location in Jacksonville. This is a PRN opportunity.

At Baptist Health, a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes while supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education. This role includes direct patient care, ongoing monitoring, patient and family education, documentation, and coordination with physicians and other departments to ensure optimal outcomes.

As a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering direct patient care during Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes in accordance with clinical protocols

• Performing initial patient assessments and ongoing evaluations

• Monitoring oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and vital signs during sessions

• Accurately documenting all pertinent patient information in the medical record

• Providing education to patients and significant others regarding pulmonary health, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications

• Participating in discharge planning and patient follow-up

• Assisting with pulmonary stress testing as needed

• Maintaining direct communication with physicians regarding patient care concerns and progress

• 1-2 years Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
