Registered Nurse, Endoscopy, PRN, Baptist Downtown

Job Summary

Baptist Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy Team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN position.

Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide care and monitoring for critical patients requiring a higher acuity of care
• Coordinate and supervise care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordinate care with ancillary services to support safe and effective patient outcomes
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing individualized plans of care
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, procedures, treatments, and plans of care
• Serve as a patient advocate and promote patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction

Registered Nurse Experience:

• Endoscopy or Procedural Nursing Experience (preferred)
• Experience caring for higher-acuity or critical care patients (preferred)
• Hospital or acute care nursing experience (preferred)

Registered Nurse (RN) Education & Credential Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
