Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN nightshift position in our high-risk, Level III, Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. As a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at Baptist Jacksonville you will:

Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing processOrganize and supervision care provided by supportive personnelCoordinate care provided by ancillary servicesInclude patients and families in developing and individualized plan of careServe as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care for high-risk obstetrical patients including outpatient services and additional surgical proceduresUphold the hospital mission statementParticipate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience

Education & Credential Requirements

  • Associate's degree Required

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

  • Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) Required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

  • Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred

  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
