Registered Nurse, Neuro OR, Full-Time, Weekends, Baptist Downtown

Baptist Health is hiring a Circulating Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Operating Room team at Baptist Jacksonville (Downtown) in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-time, Weekend Nights (Saturday-Monday; 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) opportunity. This role requires call with a 40-minute response time and qualifies for competitive call and differential pay.

The Neuro Operating Room has 5 OR Suites, 2 IR Suites, and was built with state-of-the-art technology including intraoperative CT and MRI. The surgical teams perform Neurosurgery cases as well as Neuroendovascular cases.

Neuro OR Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities:

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
• Organize and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordinate of care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/ families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Neuro OR Registered Nurse Experience:

• Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Neuro OR Registered Nurse Education & Credential Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
