Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to our Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at Wolfson Surgery Center. This is a PRN Day shift opportunity with a commitment of 2 shifts per week.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Pre/Post-Op unit you will be responsible for:

  • Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
  • Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
  • Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
  • This is a fast-paced peri-operative unit, specializing in PreOp and Phase 2 recovery.
  • No major holidays, no weekends, and no call required

Registered Nurse, Pediatric Perianesthesia, Experience

  • 2-4 years Emergency Department, ICU, Surgical Services Experience

Registered Nurse, Pediatric Perianesthesia, Education

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred)

Registered Nurse, Pediatric Perianesthesia, Licenses and Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
