Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is seeking to add a SPECT Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department in Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity.

The SPECT Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Performs high-quality diagnostic procedures
  • Knowledge of (and adherence to) State of Florida rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials. Protects patients, self, and others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure
  • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy
  • Performs high-quality (CT) (NM) (PET) procedures.
  • Promotes goodwill amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
  • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements. Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
  • Licensure Requirement: Registered CT Technologist (up to one year to attain CT registry from date of hire).
