Job Summary

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist to support our Main Operating Room at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This Surgical Technologist position will be a PRN, Day shift position.

As a Surgical Technologist for the Main OR, your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for and assisting with surgical procedures in the scrub role
  • Managing case readiness for the day
  • Assisting in preparation and organization for the upcoming week
  • Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures
  • Assists in the care and maintenance of the equipment and instrumentation in surgical services

Experience Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
