Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center Beach is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist South location in Jacksonville Beach. This is a full-time shift opportunity.

The primary responsibilities of the Transporter are:

• accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher
• to provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient;This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
• work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
• be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

Education Required

Experience

• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Customer Service Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
