Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center located in beautiful Northeast Florida is actively seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistantor to join our distinguished GYN Surgical Oncology Department in a full time position. The position has focus on GYN Surgical Oncology services, which includes benign and oncology care.

Responsibilities
- Patient population: women needing gynecologic surgical and medical oncology services
- Inpatient: The APP acts as the first assist in the OR. The APP is responsible for: independent rounding on patients in the acute post operative phase who are admitted to the hospital, post-operative wound care and pain management, timely collaboration with consulting physicians, coordinating discharge from the hospital, evaluating new consults.
- OR: Support as surgical first assist, laparoscopic and robotic surgical support when indicated.
- Outpatient: Evaluates new and existing patients in collaboration with staff physicians, as well as multidisciplinary team, completes outpatient documentation in a timely fashion, performs clinic procedures as applicable. Manages the surgical and medical oncology needs of the gyn oncologic patient.
