Orthopedic Hand SurgeonBaptist Health of Jacksonville, Florida's new Orthopedic practice is growing. We're adding an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to our team in Fleming Island, FL. Our new orthopedic surgical team is full of dedicated staff and physicians who care for their patients. Your Clinical Practice Under a Household Name- Baptist Health is well-known in the Northeast Florida market. In fact, we're considered the most preferred healthcare system due to our quality patient care and clinical outcomes. - Our robust clinically integrated network allows for an easy flow of orthopedic patients to your practice. - We provide a comprehensive compensation model and total rewards system with a 401K match, sign on bonus, relocation assistance, health insurance, life insurance, free CME, and more. - We will provide you with OR block time, an established patient referral network, and a clinic for you to practice your expertise. - This surgeon's practice will be comprehensive Hand to Elbow Care and will manage a diverse range of conditions including, but not limited to:- Nerve compression syndromes (e.g., carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel) - Tendon and ligament injuries - Fractures and dislocations of the hand, wrist, and elbow - Arthritis reconstruction (hand, wrist, elbow) - Microsurgical procedures - Congenital hand differences - Soft tissue and bone tumors of the upper extremity - Call is limited, but required. The Expertise and Credentials You Bring- Required - Completion of Orthopedic Residency. - Required - Completion Orthopedic Hand Fellowship. - You must be board certified or board eligible. - MD/DO - Unrestricted Florida Medical License. The facility opened in May 2013 to bring the high-quality care of Wolfson Children's Hospital and Baptist Health to residents of Clay County. The Baptist/Wolfson Children's Emergency Center, which is open 24 hours a day, has 16 treatment rooms, a separate waiting room for children, child-specific medical equipment and imaging capabilities, a LifeFlight helipad and an on-site ambulance. Pediatric emergency medicine physicians affiliated with Wolfson Children's Hospital are also available during peak hours daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The campus's three-story Medical Office Building also houses the Wolfson Children's Specialty Center on the first floor.
