Katharyn Mirzaee, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician and a Jacksonville native. She attended Stanton College Prep, where she was a rower. About Me

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. My medical training took me across the country, and it means so much to be back in my hometown. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our families. We enjoy simple everyday time spent together cooking or going to the beach, as well as events that involve more planning such as cross-country and international travel.

My ultimate goal in medicine is to serve my community. That means listening to each individual patient as well as their families and developing a collaborative treatment plan that will be attainable and sustainable long-term.

I hope to serve the Jacksonville community in a variety of ways over my career, currently working on improving health outcomes through data-driven research. In the past, I have also volunteered at the Jacksonville Zoo, served as an assistant coach for my high-school rowing team, and as a teaching aide for a local elementary school.
