Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting.

Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice CPR and choking rescue!

This class is taught by a Safe Sitter Instructor who has completed Safe Sitter training.

Class Cancellation and Refund Policy

To accommodate others who may wish to attend this class, we ask that all cancellations be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the start of the class. If you paid a fee for the event, and you submitted the cancellation notice 72 hours or more prior to the start of the event, you can either apply the class fee to another Baptist Health event or request a refund.
