Matthew "Matt" Sheehan, BSN, RN, MBA, NE-BC, CIC, CPHQ

Matthew "Matt" Sheehan, BSN, RN, MBA, NE-BC, CIC, CPHQ, is the assistant administrator of patient care services for Baptist Medical Center Nassau. In this role, he partners closely with nursing and operational leaders to strengthen care delivery, support frontline teams and continue advancing Baptist Nassau’s exceptional care to the community. Matt has an extensive background in nursing leadership, quality improvement and operational excellence within Baptist Health.

He holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern Indiana, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of General Studies from Valdosta State University. Matt maintains multiple professional certifications including Board Certified Nurse Executive (NE-BC), Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
